highly recommend tory has looked after my boy a few times now I never had to worry got up dated pics everyday tory went above and beyond even cleaned out his litter tray mr mittens loved having the company attention and pats its a relief having someone who just loves cats and is trustworthy wouldn’t want anyone else looking after my boy

Tory has been taking care of my felines for the last few years, a week or two here a couple days there. I am always so happy when I return to leftover biscuits in the dish and fresh clean water in the bowls. I particularly enjoy receiving pictures of the cats after she’d been, it really settles me, I have noticed the difference in them (less mad/needy) as I’d used some one else before, I think because Tory will spend time with them, giving the good pats and playing, to ensure they are not getting lonely! before his passing Tory has taken care of my elderly boy, she’s taken care of my orange idiot since kittenhood and has recently even befriend my new boy who is timid and not sure about new people and wasn’t entirely happy about entering a new home. She got him on side quite quickly, which is behavior I trust. Tory is always friendly and direct, and happy to help! Although not formally trained in animal care she absolutely knows what she’s doing, she has her own access to our home and comes and goes appropriately I do not have to worry about anything, once she has our departure and arrival dates, and knows where everything is, she off, great common sense and initiative with all duties. Even cleaning up accidents or replenishing food supplies if we’ve unexpectedly run out! I’m so glad to have found someone who respects our animals and our home while we are not there.My cats have grown to love her and will wait outside when they know she’s coming, I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants a stress free experience.

Tory picked up Billie and myself for a visit to the vet. Everything went perfectly and I will be using the service again. Tory was on time and the journey was smooth. It is great travelling with a cat friendly service as not alll cats are great travellers. Thanks Tory!

Tory gave Maggie a claw clip. Friendly, fast service, without the hassle of getting Maggie in the cage and to the vet. I highly recommend The Cat Carer.

Tory collected me and Agatha for an early vet appointment. She was already waiting. It was just so nice to concentrate my attention on Agatha. i knew this trip was likely to be Agatha’s last journey. It also meant I could spend my time in quiet reflection. I will be using the Cat Carer’s services again. Looking forward to getting those nail trims done etc.

I recently went on my honeymoon and it meant the longest time I’ve been away from my cats in their entire lives. We have 4 cats (if you’ve followed this page for awhile, you’ll be familiar with the Featherston Four!!) ranging from 13 years old to just 2 years old. They can be a lot of work! Tory was an incredible and reassuring carer for our darlings while we were away. Daily photos, videos, updates if she hadn’t managed to see them that day, some notes on things we might want to follow up on when we get back, and the comfort and knowledge that someone who loves cats as much as we do was hanging out with our lot every day. Tory made it to our house daily for 2.5 weeks, including one day where she had to battle through a freak snow event to get there. Just incredible – would 100% recommend and will be booking her in again next time we’re out of the city!

Tory looked after my two cats for 5 days. They are rescues, one is confident and one is very shy. They have their quirks with eating and Tory handled them beautifully. I hadn’t left them for this long since I got them, so was a little nervous that the shy one wouldn’t eat. I didn’t have to worry. Ursula even got comfortable enough for a quick pat. Tory sent me updates every feed with photos and met the cats where they were, making them really comfortable. And when I got home they were so relaxed and confident in their routine, I knew they had been cared for with a lot of love. I can’t recommend Tory highly enough. Her approach, knowledge and genuine love of cats, shines through. The great communication while you are away confirms you have made the right decision to trust Tory with your fur babies, knowing they are in safe and caring hands. Dedicated to the welfare of her clients’ cats. Fed our cats over Labour Weekend, no hassles. also clipped our ginger cat’s claws, very efficiently and skillfully done. Highly recommended

An absolutely amazing service by The Cat Carer. I loved getting daily photos and updates of my 2 cats that she was looking after for a week. Really good priced and I was able to relax on my holiday and know that my cats were cared for. Will be booking again very soon!! Thank you again 🙂

The Cat Carer looked after our little menace for three days. She fed her, played with her, sent us photos, and was super patient with her – even when she was behaving like a menace. 100% recommend 😊

Tory knows cats better than anyone I’ve ever met. She treats every sentient being with the utmost respect and care and goes above and beyond to help people with her caring heart. I highly recommend!

Tory looked after our 2 cats in November. It was a huge relief to have someone so experienced and caring of cats. We had been so hesitant to go away for even 1 night as one cat is on medication for heart disease. All was fine and we came home to happy kitties.

Tory provided such amazing service that even our most timid boy came to see her on a couple of occasions.We have an inside only cat, an Elderly cat who we prefer only goes outside when we are home, and two cats who have total free rein….. none of this phased Tory! And we got photos at every visit so we knew our boys were being cared for ❤️

Tory made our two princesses’ pawdicures (claw trims) a pleasant, stress-free experience. Cinnamon even flirted and allowed tummy rubs afterwards! Purrfect!🐱
